First a few words about our kennel.

When I'm recalling memories from faraway times of my childhood I can say, that I catched love for dogs from my grandfather. There were always dogs around him - generally German Shepherds, wandering loose everywhere and only in special situations leashed.

I was always dreaming about having a dog. On my 7th birthday I've got my first dog and it was Polish Tatra Sheepdog bought by my father. Amor was a pure-bred dog with pedigree, admittedly he was going to be a St. Bernard Dog, but this doesn't matter anymore. he was mine and that was all what I wanted.

Next was Bella - German Shepherd and Bombil (who was Wire-haired dachshund) mix.
Together with my wife we have had two GSDs - Tarzan and after two years - his son Herkules. This two dogs lived with us to late age and they passed away naturally, leaving us with memories. After their death we were left with empty place in our hearts, so we bought Mopel (short-haired dachshund).

 

Ca de Bou destiny...

The fact that I came across Ca de Bou is pure coincidence or destiny.

I was searching for a family dog, who is incorruptible, territorial, fearless and will defend in situations of need. I have taken my first step to the dog pound in Sycyna, but I didn't found any dog who could satisfy my requirements. During my way home I saw a small, country yard in which I saw dogs, who were looking exactly like those from my imagination.

My first Ca de Bou is Agat Ling Tao (breeder Ewa Szurman).

Agat is foundation of my interest in Ca de Bou breed and he has awesome character.

He is in bulldog type of Ca de Bou and after reading a standard of breed I realized, that Agat is very far from it.

That's why dogs who's pedigrees are near the beginning of restoration of this breed like Duna Mea Pretoria Caesareum FCI and dogs from new line Osanna after adding of fresh Spanish blood like Divo de Can Estrach to Margarita Mix RJOsanna FCI are the base of my genetic material in kennel

And from a dog named Parys Domi to Nuclear Rainbow RJ Osanna

This dogs hale other type of construction (sport type of Ca de Bou) with longer vat, they aren't getting tired so fast as bulldog-type dogs, they are quicker and more agile and very watchful, their height is correct to standard. The part of fresh blood improved greatly health of dogs, which I have. Despite a lack of obligation of doing x-ray for dysplasia in this breed our dogs have it as well as heart examination.

General device of our kennel is to healthy dogs giving healthy progeny.

We want to breed Ca de Bou dogs close to sport-type, but with molos silhouette, so we choose exactly these dogs to our kennel.
